A Space to Reflect, Grow and Stay Connected to the Work that Matters
Supporting counsellors and helping professionals with thoughtful, relational clinical supervision grounded in curiosity, reflection and good practice.
Supervision that Makes Room for the Whole Practitioner
Clinical supervision is more than reviewing cases or meeting professional requirements. It is a space to think, reflect, explore what is happening in the work and consider what you might need as the person doing it.
Reflective Practice
Step back from the work, notice patterns and explore what may be happening beneath the surface.
Complex Case Reflection
Think through challenging client work, therapeutic relationships, risk and ethical considerations.
Group Supervision
Create a supervision group with colleagues and make space for shared reflection, different perspectives and learning together.
Trauma Informed Practice
Reflect on trauma, safety, nervous system responses and the impact complex work can have on both client and practitioner.
Ethics & Boundaries
A thoughtful space to explore ethical questions, boundaries, responsibilities and professional decision making.
Practitioner Wellbeing
Notice the impact of the work, including emotional load, vicarious trauma and the importance of sustainable practice.
A Relational Approach to Supervision.
Belle’s approach to supervision is warm, collaborative and grounded in a simple principle:
Curiosity without judgement.
A Space to Think Out Loud
You don’t need to arrive at supervision with everything neatly organised. Bring the case you can’t stop thinking about, the conversation that didn’t sit quite right, the ethical question, the uncertainty, or simply the sense that something deserves a closer look.
- Reflective and collaborative
- Trauma and DV informed
- Grounded in clinical practice
For Counsellors and Helping Professionals
Supervision can support practitioners (inc. school chaplains) working across counselling, community services, youth work, AOD, education and other therapeutic or helping settings.
- Individual clinical supervision
- Professional reflection and development
- Available in Albany and online
Group Supervision
Bring your people. Create your own group.
Group supervision can offer something different from individual supervision: the opportunity to learn alongside others, hear different perspectives and reflect together on the complexities of practice.
If you have a small group of colleagues or practitioners who would like to undertake supervision together, you’re welcome to get in touch with Belle to explore creating a group that works for you.
Groups may be formed around a shared workplace, area of practice or simply a group of practitioners who value learning and reflecting together.
Note: As an ACA Level 3 registered counsellor and member of the ACA College of Supervisors, Belle offers clinical supervision for ACA counsellors at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Supervision is also available to practitioners/chaplains in youth work, AOD, education, and community services where their needs align with Belle’s experience. Students and members of other professional bodies are welcome to enquire, with any training, registration or accreditation requirements confirmed before beginning.

FAQs
Do I need to prepare for supervision?
It can help to bring a client situation, an ethical question or something you’ve been reflecting on. You don’t need a formal presentation or everything figured out. Together, we can explore what feels most relevant and identify useful next steps.
Can I talk about how the work affects me?
Yes. Your emotional responses, workplace pressures, boundaries and wellbeing are all valuable parts of supervision. There is space to reflect on what you’re carrying and how it influences your practice, while recognising when separate personal counselling may be helpful.
Is supervision confidential?
Confidentiality is central to the supervisory relationship. At the outset, we’ll discuss its limits, how records are managed and any agreed reporting to your workplace or training provider. Client information should be deidentified wherever possible. In groups, all participants agree to protect each other’s privacy. Exceptions may apply where disclosure is legally required or necessary to respond to serious safety concerns.
What are Belle’s supervision qualifications?
Belle holds a Certificate of Attainment in Individual and Group Clinical Professional Supervision, completed through Supervision Training Services. She is also an ACA Level 3 registered counsellor and a member of the ACA College of Supervisors. Her supervision draws on practical experience across counselling, youth work, education, community services and residential alcohol and other drug recovery.
